Social media is here to stay, and whether we like it or not, it is a part of our workplace. This seminar will give you the pros and cons of using social media in the application process, as well as, inform you about the legal pitfalls social media brings into the workplace and the employment relationship. Learn practical guidelines and practices to help navigate your company through your employees’ use of social media. Our speakers include: Mark W. Bakker, JD, Nexsen Pruet, LLC; and Dr. Ed Sherbert, Sherbert & Associates; as well as our expert panelist: Sheila Price, Social Media Coordinator, NGU; Silvia King, EVP of Human Resources, SoutherFirst Bank; and Andrea Simrell, Public Relations Manager, VantagePoint.
